May peroxidize. Increased methemoglobin levels observed in dermal lethal-dose study or rabbits. Progressive anemia with increased splenic hemosiderin deposition and hematopoiesis observed in 90-day gavage study of rats. No changes in sperm motility or vaginal cytological parameters seen.
